During the whole campaign, the Republican President has courted this group, something that has begun to make the Democratic candidate. A total of 32 million Latinos are eligible to vote on the 3rd of November.

Latino citizens in the United States' first ethnic minority - overcame the number of African Americans, according to the census figures - and 32 million of them are eligible to vote next November 3rd. It is for this reason that he has been converted into a key player for the campaigns of Republican President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival, Joe Biden.

The number of Latinos registered and with the probability of voting has increased in large states, such as California and Texas, and also in crucial states, such as Florida, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Ohio. As a result, Latin voters could make a difference by deciding who will govern for the next four years starting in 2021. According to The New Yorker magazine, this group will play a decisive role in four states: Florida, Arizona, North Carolina and Wisconsin.

Both Trump and the Republican Party are very well aware that, before giving positive to the coronavirus, the Mandatario made visits to the states precisely this electorate has an important presence.

Trump and his campaign, say the CNN record, he has lost time and he has done a lot to correct his mistakes in 2016 and then close the gap with Hispanic voters, using an approach that spans three fronts: “Link to Biden with them the left wing of his party in an effort to beat immigrants authoritarian socialist countries; promising economic growth and low taxes to a considerable group of Hispanics who start small businesses; and pledged to fight the activity of the pandillas in the great cities, in a struggle for winning out to the larger Hispanic voters ”.

Republicans are very concentrated in conservative Cuban-American voters, particularly in Florida, a joyful support of the corona. In the last years, the influence of conservative Cuban-Americans has been balanced in Florida due to the presence of Puerto Rican people, who are mainly Democrats; Dominicans, also prodemocrats; and naturalized South Americans, which correspond to a mix of Republicans and Democrats. The result is a community of Latin voters that is more politically balanced in this state. According to the polls, Trump has a 44% voting intent in Florida, while Biden has 48%, according to the Real Clear Politics promise.

The New York Times newspaper notes that in a state divided in an equitable manner, the choices were decided by a few thousand votes or, more badly, by a scientific group. "The secret of Florida is now a game of marbles", says the New York journalist Gwen Graham.
